Are you new to podcasts? Maybe you’ve heard people talking about podcasts but it’s just not been your thing. You’re not actually sure what they are or ready to figure out all the tech. It just seems too complicated. Don’t worry – I gotcha!!
What is a podcast?
In it’s simplest form, a podcast is like a radio program except that you get it listen to it when you want, not when it’s scheduled. They are typically audio in format, which makes them great for listening in the car or on a walk.
Instead of a radio station, you can subscribe to them on your smart phone or tablet, or listen to them online (look up at the top of this page. You can click on it to hear this week’s episode. There will be a new one each Thursday morning if you just want to come back to this website).
The tech is easy!
If you have a smart phone or tablet, there are podcast apps that come default on your device. You just need to search for More Than Good Food and this podcast should show up. Just look for the image of green apples in a scale. The action is to click on Subscribe.
New episodes will automatically get loaded onto your device so you can listen when you want. If you are worried about data usage, you can limit the podcast app to only download using WIFI (no cellular).
You can find out more information about Podcasts from Apple Support for your iPad and iPhone, or Google Play Music for your Android device or listen on Stitcher.
